The CT01 is an interesting combination of a water filter and an instant hot-and-cold dispenser. But the bigger question is whether the sound performance is just as wild as the design. Devialet is packing some serious technology into the compact enclosure, including deep-bass reproduction down to 18 Hz and high-resolution audio support. We'll have to hear it for ourselves to find out whether the listening experience lives up to the visual statement.

Compact soundbars are nothing new, but Yamaha is addressing one of the more frustrating problems with modern TV and streaming audio: dialogue that can be difficult to hear clearly. As streaming content increasingly mixes quiet conversations with loud music and effects, a dedicated dialogue-enhancement feature could make a meaningful difference for everyday viewing.

While the upgraded drivers and DSP tuning should make for a more refined listening experience on paper, the real question will be how much of a difference these changes make compared with previous Tuk models.

First off, we’re loving these colors. Sony is clearly having some fun with this lineup, and the Hello Kitty collaboration takes that even further. But as good as they look, the real test is going to be how they perform.

The biggest curiosity here might actually be the CD player. Physical media is getting a renewed wave of attention, and Fosi is jumping into that space with a decidedly modern take. The DISC Nano's unusual design certainly makes it stand out, but the bigger question is whether it can make portable CD listening genuinely compelling again.

The real test will be whether these speakers sound good enough and install easily enough to justify their bulk. If they do, RtR could have an interesting option for people who have outgrown their soundbar but don't want a traditional speaker system taking over the room.

The manual functionality is particularly useful because many shades are installed in extremely high or hard-to-access locations—sometimes directly above expensive furniture such as a client's $40,000 grand piano. In those situations, avoiding a ladder isn't just more convenient; it can reduce the risk of damaging the client's property.
