MANGOAL Expands OEM-Style Dash Cams to the UK and USA

MANGOAL is expanding its lineup of OEM-style dash cams into the UK and USA, offering vehicle-specific cameras designed to look more like a factory component than a traditional aftermarket dash cam. Instead of mounting a camera directly to the windshield with visible cables, MANGOAL uses vehicle-specific housings and plug-and-play connections that integrate around the vehicle's original rear-view mirror or rain-sensor housing. The company says its lineup is compatible with more than 300 vehicle models across brands including Ford, GMC, Chevrolet, Dodge, RAM, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Audi and Volvo.

MANGOAL has developed more than 900 custom vehicle molds, with the company saying its solutions cover more than 90% of mainstream vehicle models. Front-camera installations can typically be completed in around 10 to 20 minutes, while front-and-rear setups take around 30 to 40 minutes.
The lineup includes the Elite Series, which uses Sony STARVIS 2 sensors and offers up to 4K recording, as well as the Core Series, which provides 4K UHD recording at a lower price point. Both series can be configured with rear cameras.
The Elite Series features a Sony IMX678 sensor for 4K front recording, with optional 2K STARVIS 2 rear coverage, HDR and WDR processing, GPS, Wi-Fi, parking monitoring and support for up to 512GB of storage. The Core Series uses a Sony IMX335 sensor and supports up to 256GB of storage, along with optional 1080p rear recording.
MANGOAL's cameras are available through its website and Amazon, with prices starting at $169.99 in the U.S. and £169.99 in the UK.
Why It Matters
Indiana has one of MANGOAL’s dash cams installed in his RAM 1500 and has been very happy with it. The factory-style design blends into the truck’s interior, giving it a much cleaner look than a typical aftermarket dash cam, and he says it has worked great without any complaints.
