Maono has announced its new P Series Hybrid Audio Interfaces, designed to make high-quality recording easier for podcasters, streamers, musicians, and content creators. The new lineup includes the P1 and P2, both featuring high-resolution 24-bit/192kHz recording, USB OTG mobile connectivity, and built-in loopback functionality for livestreaming and multi-platform content creation.

The biggest difference between the two models comes down to who they're designed for. The P1 targets solo creators with a single microphone preamp, up to 70dB of gain, and an Auto Gain feature that automatically sets recording levels. The P2 is aimed at creators who need two microphone inputs, dual headphone outputs, and additional power options for more complex recording or streaming setups.

Both interfaces support direct smartphone and tablet connectivity through USB OTG, making them a practical option for creators who work on the go. Stereo loopback is also included, allowing users to capture microphone audio alongside system audio for livestreams, gameplay, and podcasts.

Our Take

The P Series looks like another solid value from Maono. Features like USB OTG support, loopback recording, and strong microphone preamps were once reserved for much more expensive interfaces, so it's encouraging to see them arriving at the $100 price point. For creators looking to upgrade from a basic USB microphone without spending a fortune, the P1 and P2 appear worth keeping an eye on.
